Candy Stop - Hecla Island

7/11/2017

Last week we went camping in Hecla Island, a provincial park located about two hours north of Winnipeg. We went last year for the first time, and really enjoyed everything the park has to offer. This year our family looks a little different from lsat year - it's crazy to see how much the kids have grown! It's also crazy to see the size of my 34-week baby bump:)

Our first stop was the general store to pick out a candy treat. Poppy chose a ring pop and Soren picked nerds... solid general store choices if I do say so myself! We stretched our legs and explored a little as we waited until it was time to check into our tiny cabin.

The blog has been on a hiatus lately, and honestly I'm not sure when/if I will be back to be posting regularly. I love the creative aspect to it, and most of all love writing and thinking up blog post ideas. Unfortunately, some crazy life changes have zapped me of all my creative energy. But I would like to document the last few weeks of this, my last pregnancy. And then of course I am going to want to document the sweet new baby who will be entering our lives... so perhaps there are lots of blog posts on the horizon.
