Everyday Adventures // Kids style

We explored an old train station today - sometimes little things can be the most fun. We ventured out of the city to go to a fall supper, which is a community dinner usually held in small towns during the harvest season. For $12, you get a full turkey dinner complete with pies for dessert and coffee and tea out of styrofoam cups. We started going a few years ago, and it's been a fun tradition to continue.

This year we choose to attend one in Grosse Isle, a small community about fifteen minutes north of the city. As we were pulling in, we saw the train station and couldn't resist stopping to take a few pictures. These two kids of ours!! They are just at the funnest ages. They play nicely together, and just seem to enjoy life. Soren never stops talking, and while Poppy's words are limited, she makes up for it in her little attitude.

Soren's wearing: Old Navy Utility Jacket (on sale!), Gap Skinny Jeans (not very skinny on him. I need to remember to ALWAYS order girl jeans for him!), Zara boots - similar.

Poppy's wearing: Old Navy Faux-Fur Vest (LOVE!), Hand-me-down Gap trench-coat (similar), H and M knit dress, Tights - Catimini (last year - these are great quality that have lasted well), shoes - I don't know. They were hand-me-downs, and the label has worn off completely.
