Weekend in the city

Saturday morning started off early - way too early, actually. Poppy woke me up at 4:30, and then woke the whole house up at 5:30. I'd set my alarm the night before to ensure we would be on time for our first gymnastics class, but we were practically ready for nap time by the time the class started. As expected, Poppy loved it!

We hosted a dinner party on saturday night - french themed. A lot of wine was consumed, and I woke up with a bit of a headache on sunday morning. We pulled ourselves together and headed downtown to manyfest - a battle of food trucks. There were plenty of things for the kids to do, too.

It's now sunday night, and two little lunch kits sit ready to go in the fridge. Soren is off to his first day of nursery school tomorrow - on the bus! I can't believe I will be putting him on a bus and saying good-bye. A million thoughts are running through my head, but Tyler keeps reminding me to calm down and relax. Tomorrow is going to be a hard day, but as we were putting Soren to bed he said excitedly 'I'm going to have a GREAT day tomorrow!' He's got the right attitude:)
