This weekend we ordered sushi from Just-Eat.ca, which is a website that brings together a wide range of Winnipeg restaurants and delivers right to your door. The best part? All of the restaurant menus are online! I decided to order sushi from one of my favourite sushi spots in the city - Blufish. It's located close to my work, so I often go with co-workers for lunch, but Tyler has never been. I picked out a variety of items to order, and picked the time I wanted them delivered. A couple hours later I had a call from Just-Eat.ca confirming my order.
It was kind of strange being home all day and not having to make dinner. Normally I would plan what to eat, shop, and start prepping while Soren is napping. Instead I cleaned the kitchen and played around with some fall decor.
Dinner arrived right on the dot of 7:30, and it was delicious! The gyozas were still hot, and the sushi was fresh and nicely presented. There were lots of sauces and plenty of ginger - and I am slightly obsessed with ginger. Just-Eat.ca was perfect for a date night in, which we will likely be doing a lot of over the next several months. It would also be a great gift for new parents. One of my favourite baby gifts was a gift card to a local deli - we were SO thankful to have decent food on the many nights of 3am feedings.
