34/35 Weeks Maternity Style

wearing - Old Navy sweaterAsos blouse (similar), Thyme pants

This last photo was me making a face at Soren... no wonder the kid laughs at me! I'm 34.5 weeks pregnant, and officially in the home stretch. I have three and a half weeks of work left, and five until I can meet this little one. At this point I do have a c-section date scheduled, but I am really hoping that I can go into labour on my own before that, and attempt a VBAC.

Feeling - good, for the most part. A little tired, a little anxious, a lot excited!
Sleep - ok. I wake up 2 or 3 times a night and can usually fall back to sleep without much difficulty.
Weight - up about 23 pounds.
Baby room - not done. Check back next week
Contractions - yes, starting to feel them more frequently. Some hurt a little, most are just noticeable.
Bag packed? - nope, but should get on that
belly button - in kind of - it's halfway between in and out depending on the time of day
wedding ring - on. I haven't had too much swelling unless I'm outside walking a lot.
baby clothes - lots of them all of a sudden, thanks to some generous gifts. I washed and folded all of the little tiny items... so exciting!
bassinet - still in the basement, should bring that up and give it a good cleaning
car seat - same as above, but Soren did use his infant seat until he was 14 months, so it hasn't been in 'storage' for as long
cravings? - not really. I like sweets:) But I always like sweets

While I am looking forward to not being pregnant (basically I just want to be able to wear jeans with a tucked in shirt again... no more elastic waists!), I am really trying to enjoy these last few weeks. If this is my last pregnancy I want to remember all of the pokes and prods, the twists and turns. For the next few months I am going to have a little newborn in my arms all day, and so I'm taking this time to keep the new babe safe inside me, while my hands are free to hold my precocious toddler.

You look great! I'm interested to hear about whether or not you end up VBAC-ing, as my Juliette was also an emergency c-section and I'm hoping to do things the old fashioned way next time around.
Enjoy the last few weeks - as you know, once they're out you can't put them back in;)

Your baby bump is adorable!! I completely agree about getting out of the stretchy waistbands. It is a wonderful day to get back into some of those basic clothes!
Found you through the blog hop. Love your blog.
