Remembering San Diego

It's been over a month since we returned from our trip to California, and the last few cold days have had me reminiscing about our time spent in the sun. It's always hard to justify going on a vacation - there are always other things that come up and threaten the best laid plans. Money has to be saved, and that's never an easy thing to do. But I am so glad we made the choice to take a family holiday this year. Our twelve days in California filled us with memories to last a lifetime, and those memories really help me get through snowy days in May. Yes, you read that right. It snowed here on May first, big fat flakes that swirled through the air and would have looked oh so beautiful in December. This weekend promises to bring warmer temperatures - into the 20's perhaps! - and so we will hopefully soon be able to dust off our bikes and spend lazy afternoons in the sun. Happy Friday!

Looks lovely! We just bought tickets to go in June! Any recommendations for activities that a two year old will like?

I love SD. My husband's parents are from there so we've spent a lot of time visiting relatives in the area. I would live there in a heartbeat.
