Maternity Style - Week 20

5/28/2013

Dress - Asos maternity, belt - Joe Fresh

The weather has been particularly dreary lately, but the positive side of all the rain is that everything is finally starting to look so green. We came home from work today and could have sworn the grass grew six inches! Since grass cutting duties don't fall to me, I'll enjoy the lush scenery and let my husband groan over the extra work.

Soren has started at a new daycare this week which has been tough on us. We were absolutely in love with his old daycare, but sadly they are moving out of province. We will miss them so, so much. I know he will adjust to the new situation in time, but Monday morning brought a lot of tears for both Soren and I. I was the crazy mother at daycare crying so hard I couldn't even talk... as Tyler tried to steer me out of the building without further alarming poor Soren, who was crying plenty of tears himself. We shall see how the next few weeks play out.

I've been feeling a bit more tired lately, and more emotional. This little girl is moving around SO much! It's so much fun to get to feel all her little kicks and twists this early - with Soren I wasn't fully aware of movements until 21 or 22 weeks. I'm sure I'll have another active babe - if they take after me I am not one to sit around much!

Lovely look! I'm 26 weeks now- totally identify with the tired/emotional. It wasn't so bad until the last month and now I'm overwhelmed!

So cute! I love the belt above your belly; I carried my babies very high and I wish that had been in style when I was pregnant because I would have been all over that look!

Erika, LOVE the maternity style! You always look great though!

Sorry to hear about daycare, sounds like a hard week :(. Nothing a few extra snuggles won't cure!

That dress is just gorgeous on you! You make me want to go buy it...but with only a few months left, I probably shouldn't!

I suppose having active kids will keep you fit & trim, right?! That's definitely a plus. Your outfit this week looks great. I love the dress and the belt. You look like the picture of health & a joyful pregnancy!

I am so sorry about the daycare situation :( I WILL get better, but I can imagine how rough all the change is! And the hormones from pregnancy just aren't helping!
