Baby girls nursery

5/27/2013

A few weeks back I shared some inspiration that for a Shared Space that I hoped to create for the two babes. However, after some careful thought I've decided to create two separate spaces. We have three and a half bedrooms, so we'll still have the space for a small playroom/den even after giving both kids their own bedrooms. Our current guest room is used about twice per year, so I think it makes more sense to utilize it more than that.

Which means, I get to be a little more feminine with the little girls space! I'm not one for frills and pink, but I would like the space to feel distinctly feminine. I really like the idea of doing a wallpaper accent wall, although I've never wallpapered before so it makes me a little nervous. I'm also at a bit of a loss about where to find cute wallpaper, so any recommendations would be much appreciated.

I love this colour palette - pale robins egg blue, coral, and a soft mustard colour (perhaps slightly softer than this rug.)

Pretty wallpaper - that could also transition to a guest room or older child's room.

Love how vibrant and alive this rooms feels.

Or maybe some tiny polkadots?! I'm so excited to start designing!
