A new member

4/11/2013

We are very excited to announce that there will be a new member of The Lindens, due in October! I am three months along, and have so far found this pregnancy to be very different from my last. I have unfortunately had to join the 'morning-sickness club', something I managed to avoid while pregnant with Soren. Some days are better than others, so I hope the good ones start to out number the bad. Overall it has still been a relatively smooth pregnancy, and I am thrilled that we are adding to our family! I'm undecided as to whether or not we will find out this one's gender... we didn't the first time but we will see.

As for Soren, he adamantly shakes his head 'NO' when asked if he would like a little brother or sister. We're not too concerned, as 'No' is pretty much his favourite word these days. I'm looking forward to all the wonderful milestones that come with pregnancy - feeling the first kicks, ultra-sounds, and watching my belly grow. (Which seems SO much bigger this time around, as all second-time moms attest.) I know these next six months are going to fly by, and soon we will be meeting this new babe!

Congrats! Stopping by from the Mommy Brain Mixer. I'm expecting as well - twins, in about 6 weeks. Love all those pregnancy highlights, especially all the squirming and kicking. :) Hope your morning sickness dissipates soon.

Congratulations! Such exciting news! I'm sorry that you've been sick - it's been the same for me in my second pregnancy. Hopefully it will pass soon! I've always gotten a kick out of my son and yours seem to go through the same phases at the same time, as they're so close in age - I'm due in September, so we're due almost at the same time again!

Happy to finally see the belly pics! Congrats again & I hope your morning sickness goes away soon! You're right about the belly popping sooner with a second pregnancy. That's definitely true for me too. Whether or not it's because I've had a hard time controlling my sweet tooth this time, I'm not sure.

Yay! Congrats! I know everyone has advice but I'm six months in and still getting sick every few days, I was so sick the first trimester I took meds. Eating small meals all the time really does help, and drinking icy icy freezing cold water, too. Excited to follow along...
