Some Desert Sun

3/17/2013

We are here in Palm Springs, soaking up all of the sun we can handle. It is amazing. Five days left of this vacation and we are wishing it would never end. The Littlest loves everything about this place. Picking oranges for breakfast, running in the grass, playing in the pool, gardening, eating tons of fruit, and hanging out with his grandparents. Tyler and I are off to San Diego tomorrow by ourselves, and while we are excited to check out a new city, we are a bit torn because Palm Springs has been so fantastic!

The trip out here went better than we could have expected - Soren was a pro on the airplane, and so was my nervous-flier husband. The only negative thing is that we've discovered Soren has an allergy - to goats of all things! While at the Living Desert Zoo we petted some goats, and then quickly watched as his eye got red and swollen, and the sneezing and runny nose kicked in. Luckily goats are a pretty easy animal to avoid - on the allergy spectrum this is a good one!

Lots more pictures and updates to come, but I'm living sans wireless, so the posts are pretty few and far between.
