Cooking ourselves well

2/01/2013

As we hunker down inside our home, waiting for the Littlest's sickness to pass over, I had lots of time to get busy in the kitchen. The last couple days have been hard, and a peach cobbler muffin is just the  thing to cheer us up in the morning.

A bag of bell peppers were just begging me to chop them up and roast them to a delicious golden brown, perfect for a hearty vegetable soup. And when the afternoon starts to turn into evening, we needed a little chocolate chip cookie or two to keep our spirits up.

Soren's precious blanket had to be put through the wash, but lucky for all of us it dried really quickly in the winter sun. (He would be lost without his blanket - it is his absolute fave. Luckily, we have a back-up!) Have a lovely weekend. Linking up with tatertotsandjelly
