Some winter fun on NYE

1/05/2013

On New Years Eve we bundled up with lots of extra layers, and headed out to Fort Whyte. After a very chilly winter's walk to see some teepee's, we braved the toboggan slide. It was really big - a little intimidating actually. But we gave it a go and had a blast! I wish the weather had been ever so slightly warmer, for the babe's cheeks were practically turning purple, so we had to cut it short. A muffin at the indoor cafe warmed him up, and brought his cheeks back to a normal colour. Hopefully we can make it back again this winter... it's totally worth braving the cold to get outside for some fresh air.
