An outfit - Casual dinner party

12/12/2012

sweater  and button down - Banana Republic, skirt - Vera Moda, necklace - a little shop on the Sunshine Coast!, tights - Hue ribbed -similar
A few weeks ago I linked up with The pleated poppy for what I wore wednesday. It's fun to look through other people's outfit choices, and try to get creative with what I'm wearing. Here's what I wore to a dinner party we went to on Sunday night. Our friends house was all decked out for the holidays, and chef MG prepared an amazing meal of deep fried chicken (with quinoa flour), pork ribs with a homemade red wine and black garlic BBQ sauce, roasted kale, and a creamy mac and cheese. I will be so excited if he opens a restaurant one day!!

The entire house had a warm glow, a combination of candles and christmas lights.
 And one of the chef...!

Linking up with Shanna and the pleated poppy.

Hey mama! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I'm loving yours already! Needless to say I'm a new follower :)

I love your outfit! Anything with black tights is so classy, and you're rocking that green skirt. I'm a bit jealous of your snow though :) I live in NY and it's only been raining, bleh! Looking forward to reading more from you.

I LOVE your outfit!! Super trendy and chic!

I have one black skirt from a few years ago that I could use with this outfit to recreate it. Except now that I think about it, it's too big now. Boo.

Seriously. Loving the outfit. Great job!

Aw love the outfit! The contrast of the bright skirt against the black and gray looks great, and green is perfect for the holidays.
